What will we discuss in the initial consultation?

At your initial consultation, we’ll cover whatever is most important to you! Whether you have immediate questions or want to explore what MirWood can offer, we’re here to listen and guide you. Typically, you’ll have already received our packages and pricing, but we’re happy to walk through everything again to ensure nothing is left unanswered.

How does booking with MirWood look?

To secure your date, we require a $500 retainer and a signed contract. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day. After booking, here’s what you can expect:

1–2 days post-booking:
You’ll receive a welcome packet, including a pre-wedding questionnaire. Using this info, we begin crafting your detailed minute-by-minute timeline. The packet also includes a recommended vendor list, planning tips, and other helpful resources.

Pre-planning process:
Throughout your planning journey, you’ll enjoy unlimited email communication with us. Whether you book two months or two years in advance, we work diligently on your timeline and details. About one month before your wedding, we schedule a final in-depth meeting to review everything.

The big day:
On your wedding day, we’re usually the first vendor to arrive and one of the last to leave. Our priority is ensuring every detail is flawless and working closely with vendors to create an unforgettable celebration.

What is your payment process?

Once you decide to book, the $500 retainer can be sent via Zelle, credit card, or check. The remaining balance is broken up into 2 installments with the final fee due exactly one month before your wedding.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand life happens. While the retainer is non-refundable, cancellations made at least 60 days prior to your wedding will receive a refund of any additional payments. For cancellations less than 60 days out, refunds may be provided only under special circumstances.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We proudly offer a military discount and occasionally host giveaways or limited-time booking promotions—be sure to ask about any current offers! Additionally, we support couples investing in premarital counseling and are happy to discuss special considerations for those who choose to include it in their wedding planning journey.

Are there any extra fees?

For venues located more than 60 miles from Nashville, a travel fee applies:

  • $0.60 per mile

  • $125 hotel fee (if the venue is more than 2 hours from Nashville)

How far do you travel?

We primarily serve Tennessee but are happy to travel beyond the state if you choose MirWood Events.

Do you take on more than one wedding per day?

Thanks to our talented team, we can manage multiple weddings in a day. However, your assigned coordinator is dedicated solely to your event, ensuring focused attention.

Will I still have control over my wedding if I hire your team?

Absolutely! We guide and assist you every step of the way, but all final decisions remain yours.

How is MirWood different from other wedding coordinators?

Our focus is on you and your guests. While we coordinate vendor setup before the ceremony, we trust vendors to manage their responsibilities during the event. This allows us to focus entirely on ensuring you and your loved ones enjoy an unforgettable celebration.
