What will we discuss in the initial consultation?
At the initial consultation we are able to talk about anything you want! If you have any immediate questions, we are happy to go ahead and answer those. Then we can discuss what MirWood can do for you! Typically we have already sent over our packages and pricing, but we are more than happy to discuss it all again to go over anything that might have gone unquestioned.
How does booking with MirWood look?
To secure your date with MirWood Events, all we require is the $250 deposit and a signed contract. The remaining balance is due one month before your scheduled wedding date. After booking with MirWood, the process will look like this:
1-2 days post booking
After booking with MirWood Events, we will immediately ask for any information you have already gathered for your wedding. We will take that information and put it into the minute by minute timeline before sending it over to you!
Pre-planning process
Whether you book MirWood 2 months or 2 years before your wedding date, we will work on the minute by minute timeline, making sure all the important details don’t go missed. About a month before your scheduled wedding day, we will sit down with your coordinator to go over every single detail.
The big day
Your wedding day!! We are typically the first vendor to the venue to begin setting up and we are one of the last ones to leave. Our priority is to make sure everything is the way you want on your wedding day and working with all the other vendors to put on an amazing event!
What is your payment process?
Once you decide to book with MirWood Events, we require the $250 deposit which can be sent via Venmo or by check. The remaining balance isn’t due until exactly one month before your scheduled wedding date!
What is your cancellation policy?
No matter the situation, we completely understand that life takes its turns and want to accommodate everyone! While the deposit is non-refundable, we can refund anything else paid if cancelled 60 days before the scheduled wedding date. We are only able to refund the remaining amount paid in special circumstances if the contract is cancelled less than 60 days before the scheduled wedding date.
Do you offer discounts?
We do! We currently offer a military discount! Every so often, we will also host a giveaway or small timeframe window where if a couple books with us, there will be an additional discount applied.
Are there any extra fees?
If your venue is more than 50 miles outside of Nashville, TN, we do charge a travel fee to help our coordinators cover any travel expenses they may incur.
$0.60 per mile
$125.00 hotel fee (if more than 2 hours outside of Nashville, TN)
How far do you travel?
We travel all over Tennessee and are able to travel outside of TN if a couple chooses us to do so!
Do you take on more than one wedding per day?
With a large team like we have, MirWood is able to take on multiple weddings a day! BUT your coordinator is specifically assigned to you so that your event has their sole focus.
Will I still have some control over my wedding if I hire your team to coordinate my wedding?
Yes! We are here to help and guide couples through the wedding process, so all decisions will go through the couple before anything is final.
How is MirWood different from other wedding coordinators out there?
We focus on the couple and their guests more than focusing on the venue and other vendors. While we work with the vendors before the ceremony and reception to set everything up, we trust they will handle their obligations throughout the rest of the evening. That way we can make sure the couple and their guests are having the best night.
Is there anything else we should know about MirWood?
We put our couples first to make sure they are stress free and truly enjoy their wedding day. We understand it’s a very important time in everyone’s life to get married and love when couples choose MirWood Events to handle and take charge on their wedding day.
